Quite fast to retrieve your effect, I did not have to read the manual yet(I am not using the midi signal anyway). Editing patch is made via the arrow menu. The LCD screen is big enough to see all the info you need.
Sound Quality

I used some guitar with this unit and it sounds good. I also using it for my electronic music as a compressor. You can also combine up to 4 effects in series(nice result). The distortion sounds bad, I don't know why. The reverb sounds really good, very realistic.

I figure that this machine is reliable, I got it used almost destroyed. And the unit sounds like new.

Very reliable, sounds good for most of the preset effect program, except distortion. My favorite feature is the reverb(alot of programs are reverb).
